Gligic, Strickler on top in Ontario

08/18/2012 - Windsor, ON (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Michael Gligic carded a 3-under 67 on Saturday to grab a share of the lead after three rounds of the Windsor Roseland Charity Classic.

Gligic was joined in the lead at 7-under-par 203 by Will Strickler, who posted a 68 in round three.

James Allenby, who shared the second-round lead with Garrett Frank, has an even-par 70 to slip into a share of second at minus-6 with Alan McLean (65).

Frank tripped to a 1-over 71 and slid into a tie for fifth. He stands alongside Wes Heffernan (69) at 5-under-par 205.

Hugo Leon is alone in seventh at 4-under 206 after shooting 70 in the third round at Roseland Golf Club.

Gligic birdied the second, but gave that shot back when he bogeyed the fifth. He soared to 9-under with five birdies in the next six holes. After four straight pars, Gligic stumbled to bogeys at 16 and 18 to slide back into a share of the lead.

Strickler converted back-to-back birdie efforts at two and three. He posted his third birdie of the day on No. 8, but gave that shot back when he bogeyed the 10th.

From the 12th to the 16th, Strickler carded two birdies and two bogeys. He parred the final two holes to close out an up-and-down round.

NOTES: Strickler collected his first tour win earlier this year at the ATB Financial Classic, while Strickler is searching for his first tour title...Gligic is third on the tour money list, but would jump to No. 1 with a victory.
